One account, several workspaces
One Tebelis account can belong to several workspaces, for example your own company's and a client's. Each workspace keeps its own records, people and settings.
Joining a workspace
When an admin adds an email address that already has a Tebelis account, that person doesn't join straight away:
- They get an email, and the workspace shows as an Invitation in their account menu, under Workspace.
- In People & access, the admin sees them marked Invited until they accept.
- To accept, click Join, then enter the code we email to your account's address. If that workspace asks for an email code at sign-in and you signed in with just your password, you first confirm your password and enter a code we email you, then the code to join. If you don't know the workspace or who added you, click Decline.
Switching
Open the account menu and pick a workspace under Workspace. If you belong to several, the workspace name at the top of the screen opens the same list (on wider screens). The workspace opens in this browser, and your other open Tebelis tabs move with it, so save any unfinished work in them first. A suspended workspace is greyed out and tagged Suspended.
Sign-in rules
Your account follows the strictest sign-in rule of the workspaces you've joined. If one requires single sign-on, you sign in with Microsoft; if one is set to password only (and none requires single sign-on), you sign in with your password, not Microsoft; if one asks for an email code, you get that code each time you sign in with a password. A workspace you can't open with your current sign-in is tagged Sign in again. See Signing in & your account.
On your phone
If you belong to several workspaces, the mobile app's menu shows the current one with Switch workspace under it. If you switch with a message still unsent, it's kept under Started on site, for the workspace it belongs to.
