Trash & restoring records

Deleting a record moves it to Trash — recover it for 14 days before it's purged.

Nothing is deleted in a hurry

When you delete a record it doesn't vanish — it moves to Trash, where it stays recoverable for 14 days. After that it's permanently purged. A mis-click, or a record deleted by the wrong person, is never a disaster.

Restore a record

Open the Trash tab in the records view. Each item shows its status, when it was deleted, and how many days remain before it's purged. Click Restore and it returns to its place, exactly as it was — no confirmation needed, because restoring is safe.

Scope and permissions

Trash respects the same boundaries as everything else: you only ever see the deleted records from projects you have access to, and restoring re-checks your permissions. One workspace can never see another's trash.

After 14 days

Purging is permanent and frees the data for good. Every deletion, restore and purge is written to the activity log, so there's always a trail of what happened to a record.

Backups are separate from Trash. The 14-day window is your self-service safety net; ask us if you ever need something beyond it.
