Projects
Every record belongs to a project — the job, site, building or programme it's about. Projects keep records, dashboards and access cleanly separated, and most filters and reports start by picking one.
Locations inside a project
Each project can be broken into a location tree that matches how you actually talk about the site — for example Site → Building → Floor → Zone. When a record is filed against a location, you can later slice your data by exactly that level. Locations are optional and can be turned on per project.
Your organisation (optional)
Above projects, you can model your organisation as a hierarchy — for example Division → Region → Programme → Contract. The levels are yours to name. This lets you grant access or roll up reporting across a whole branch of the business at once, rather than project by project.
Setting it up
You can build all of this by hand under Projects and Organisation, or describe it to the assistant — "set up three projects under the North region with Site/Building/Floor locations" — and it will create the structure for you to confirm.
