Three ways to start
Open Templates and pick whichever fits:
- New template — start from a blank canvas and add fields yourself.
- Describe it to the assistant — type something like "build a daily safety inspection form with a photo and a corrective-action field" and review the draft it produces.
- Import — upload an existing Excel or CSV form and the assistant turns it into a typed draft for you to refine. It maps columns to fields; very large or deeply nested sheets may need a little manual tidy-up.
Add your fields
A template is a list of fields. Each field has a type — text, long text, number, a single or multiple choice, yes/no, date, time, photo, file, signature, or a person. Drag to reorder, group related fields into sections, and mark the ones that must be filled as required.
Decide the workflow
Every form has a workflow — the states a record passes through and who owns each one. A simple form might be Open → Closed; an inspection might be Draft → Review → Approved. Assign an owner (a person, a group, or "whoever is named in this field") to each state, and Tebelis routes each record — and a notification — to the right hands automatically.
Make it smart (optional)
Add conditional rules so the form adapts as it's filled: show a "corrective action" field only when a check fails, require a comment when something is sent back, or hide fields that don't apply.
Publish
When you're happy, hit Publish. Editing later creates a new version, so records already in flight keep the form they were started on.
